Information about accommodation

• Individual reservations

  To make a hotel reservation, it is necessary to fill in the On-line Accommodation Form, which is the part of the On-line Registration Form. Your password is the same for both on-line forms. 

  Reservations will be processed on a “first come, first-served” basis. We recommend that you book your accommodation as soon as possible.  

  A full pre-payment is required to guarantee the reservation. After the full payment has been received, your hotel reservation will be confirmed in writing by e-mail.  The full payment must be received on or before a payment due date, otherwise the reservation will be automatically cancelled.

  Any change or cancellation of the hotel reservation must be sent in writing at efi2024@guarant.cz. Do not contact hotels directly (except for Hilton Geneva Hotel & Conference Centre).

  In case of cancellation of the event due to force majeure, GUARANT International reserves the right to charge a handling fee.

  The appropriate refunds will be made after the Conference.

  Extra expenses related to the hotel accommodation must be settled by the guests directly at the hotel reception before their check-out. The hotel may ask for a guarantee of extras by credit card preauthorization or by paying a deposit.

• Group Reservations

  Group bookings cannot be made online as different terms and conditions apply. For further information, up to date availability and reservation, please contact the Conference Secretariat at efi2024@guarant.cz.

• Cancellation conditions

  The following cancellation conditions apply to the cancellation, reduction, shortening and no-show of a hotel reservation.

  Intercity Hotel Geneva, ibis Genève Aéroport

  Cancellations received	Cancellation fee
  Until March 31, 2024:	full refund, handling fee of 10 EUR will be deducted
  April 01, 2024 incl. - no show:	100% cancellation fee for each cancelled night

  In case of a no show, the room will be kept for the guest until 12 PM of the day following the date of expected arrival; after that the room will be released. Please inform the Conference Secretariat of any change in your arrival as soon as possible.

  Crowne Plaza Geneva, B&B HOTEL Geneva Airport

  Cancellations received	Cancellation fee
  Until February 15, 2024:	full refund, handling fee of 10 EUR will be deducted
  February 16, 2024 incl. - no show:	100% cancellation fee for each cancelled night

  In case of a no show, the room will be kept for the guest until 12 PM of the day following the date of expected arrival; after that the room will be released. Please inform the Conference Secretariat of any change in your arrival as soon as possible.

  Holiday Inn Express Geneva Airport

  Cancellations received	Cancellation fee
  Until January 28, 2024:	full refund, handling fee of 10 EUR will be deducted
  January 29, 2024 incl. - no show:	100% cancellation fee for each cancelled night

  In case of a no show, the room will be kept for the guest until 12 PM of the day following the date of expected arrival; after that the room will be released. Please inform the Conference Secretariat of any change in your arrival as soon as possible.

  Until April 14, 2024:	full refund, handling fee of 10 EUR will be deducted
  April 15, 2024 incl. - no show:	100% cancellation fee for each cancelled night

  In case of a no show, the room will be kept for the guest until 12 PM of the day following the date of expected arrival; after that the room will be released. Please inform the Conference Secretariat of any change in your arrival as soon as possible.

  Cancellations received	Cancellation fee
  Until March 15, 2024:	full refund, handling fee of 10 EUR will be deducted
  March 16, 2024 incl. - no show:	100% cancellation fee for each cancelled night

  In case of a no show, the room will be kept for the guest until 12 PM of the day following the date of expected arrival; after that the room will be released. Please inform the Conference Secretariat of any change in your arrival as soon as possible.

  Hilton Geneva Hotel & Conference Centre (reservations via link)

  All changes or cancellations must be sent directly to the hotel. In case of cancellation, shortening of the reservation and no-show, the following cancellation conditions apply:

  In case of a no show on the day of arrival, the room reservation will be automatically cancelled. If there are any changes to your arrival plans, please contact the hotel reception directly.

• Methods of payment

  Credit or Debit card (preferred option)

  • For credit or debit card payments, please use the On-line Payment System. The system is accessible with the password that you received upon registration. The system accepts the following credit/debit cards: MasterCard/Eurocard, Visa.

  Bank transfer

  • The bank details including the 10-digit payment identifier will be automatically sent to your email address after submitting the on-line form. Please note that payments without this payment identifier will not be identified and the registration will not be confirmed.
  • Please note that bank transfer payments will only be accepted by (date to be announced soon). After this date, only payments by credit/debit cards will be accepted using the On-line Payment System.
  • All bank transfer amounts should be minus bank charges. Any banking fees accrued from the transfer is the responsibility of each party.
• Advantage of booking with us

  Participants who book their accommodation through the official organizer of the EFI 2024 Conference are entitled to a free ticket for public transport.

  How does it work?

  • Consent Required: We kindly request your permission to share your email address with the designated hotel handling your reservation. This permission is included in the registration process. This is essential for us to provide you with your electronic transport ticket.
  • Ticket Delivery: An electronic ticket for public transportation in Geneva will be sent to your email address a few days before your planned arrival.
  • Note: The electronic ticket cannot be sent to you without your consent.

  Details of the ticket

  • Period of validity: The ticket is valid for your entire stay in Geneva and can only be used within the city.
  • Verification: In case of ticket inspections, please present the email with your electronic ticket as proof of your entitlement.
  • The electronic ticket is not transferable and is only valid for the guest staying at the hotel.
