MESSE ESSEN is one of Germany’s top ten exhibition venues and is therefore one of the leading venues for national and international events. Since its foundation in 1913, it has developed into a modern event venue with a reputation that extends beyond the region.

Essen – A City of Opportunity
Located in the heart of the Ruhr Metropolis, Essen is one of Germany’s leading centres for business, science and trade fairs. Its central location within one of Europe’s largest metropolitan regions, excellent transport infrastructure and close proximity to Düsseldorf Airport create ideal conditions for national and international trade fairs, congresses and events.

Essen is easily accessible by air, rail and road. Düsseldorf Airport is just a short train journey from Essen, with direct connections taking approximately 30 minutes. This makes the city easily accessible for international visitors arriving from destinations across Europe and beyond.
