Abstracts
All accepted abstracts will be published in the HLA journal and available online one week before the conference.
Abstract submission has been extended until 15 December 2025.
Oral Presentations:
Each presenter will be given a time slot of 10 minutes in total. Each oral presentation should not exceed 8 minutes. It will be followed by 2 minutes discussion.
All speakers are requested to strictly keep their allocated time slots. Session chairs will enforce the schedule.

Poster Presentations:
All posters will be presented in a “paper” format (printed posters).

Submit your abstractRequirements
When submitting your abstract please follow these abstract submission instructions.
- All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference
- The abstract must
- be written in scientific English
- have a maximum length of 2000 characters (including spaces)
- have a short informative title containing the major keywords (max 200 characters including spaces). The title should not contain abbreviations
- be a single paragraph without any heading
- Minimize the use of abbreviations, and do not cite references in the abstract
- The author's institutional affiliations must not be included in the abstract to ensure anonymity of the process
- Submitters will be asked to choose either Oral/Poster or Poster only for their abstract. The use of Oral/Poster is encouraged to maximise the abstracts being considered for the oral sessions.
- All accepted abstracts will be published in the HLA journal, and available online. By submitting your abstract, you consent to give EFI permission to publish it.

Review
All the abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the EFI Scientific committee. The authors will receive notification of the decision. Authors selected for presentation (oral communication or poster) will be required to register for the conference.
